Side Mount Lamp Socket offers a special side connection. This enables a standard 3/8″ lamp-pipe to thread into side of lamp socket rather than into base. Set screw provides secure attachment once installed. This unique mounting method is often used for lamp clusters and wall mount lamps.
Switching method for side mount lamp socket is a pull chain. It provides easy access for on/off switching. Please note: if using on lightweight-lamps, lamp may need to be steadied when chain is pulled.
This side mount lamp socket is well made. It is brass with a metal interior. Wire exits thru side of socket.
Use with: lamp cord set to wire lamp-socket
