Embossed Victorian Escutcheons add the finishing touch to restoration projects. These intricately designed keyhole covers are reproduced using original manufacturing methods. They are stamped brass with a polished finish. Mounts on drawer fronts.
Install – Surface Mount Escutcheon
- Locate best placement for keyhole on furniture front. Make sure keyhole is aligned correctly with key pin in lock. Be sure hole in key barrel is lined up correctly to comfortably go over pin in lock mechanism.
- Mark location of both attachment pins. Be sure they are level with each other.
- Drill small pilot hole at attachment pin locations.
- Hold keyhole cover in place. Press each pin in hole and then tap into place.
