Cabinet hinges are 2-1/2″ x 1-3/8″. They are made from heavy gauge, 1/8″ thick brass extrusions. This useful size accommodates many furniture and cabinet doors. Not just for doors, use on boxes and some table tops.
Extruded Brass Cabinet Hinges are made by forcing brass into special dies, under extreme pressure. This produces a hinge that is stronger and thicker than stamped hinges. The brass is left unfinished, providing great flexibility. It can be left to age naturally or polished to a shiny lustrous finish. If preferred it can be antiqued or installed and then finished at the same time the furniture is finished.
