Chimney Lamp Shade Wildflower is an all-time favorite. Sprays of native flowers wrap each panel. This happy shade adds a delightful touch to urban and country interiors.
Wildflower Chimney Lampshades are made in America. Each lampshade is produced on a sturdy, rust resistant metal frame. The frame has a ring to slip over glass chimney. Exterior of frame is covered with parchment paper. The paper is stabilized and strengthened with hard white buckram (a coarse linen lining) for added strength. To complete chimney lampshades a gold taped binding is added to accent top bottom and individual sections.
This vintage style chimney lampshade has been produced in the same traditional manner for more than 60 years. Best of all, it is still Made in USA
Install Chimney Lamp Shades
Chimney lamp shades are used on lamps which do-not have a shade holder but do have a glass chimney. These shades have an inner ring that slides down over glass chimney neck to rest on bulge.
When measuring chimney lamp shades consider the following:
- Chimney shades have a splayed shape being wide at the bottom and narrow at the top.
- Shades are measured from point to point across bottom.
- 14″ chimney shades are used on standard size oil lamps (10″- 12″ lamp base height.
- 12″ chimney shades are used on smaller accent lamps and finger lamps.
- Lamps can be either oil or electric.
