Brass Plated Electric Burners have a transparent silver cord. This is without a doubt the most useful color cord. The transparent hue harmonizes with most lamps.
#2 is a common size used on many antique and vintage oil lamps. Use on lamps with a brass plated collar that has a 1-3/16″ threaded opening. Oil lamp burner screws into lamp collar. Use with #1102 holder for student shades.
These lamp burners are brass-plated, fitting many but not all antique oil lamps. Brass-plated burners have coarse threads.
General replacement rule: best to use brass-plate replacement burner if lamp collar is brass-plated; use brass burner if collar is brass.
