Gold Resin Candle Covers look like real beeswax. Natural looking drips and faux finish resembles an aged candle. The color is a soft, non-metallic gold. Use on new lighting or to replace damaged candle covers on vintage lamps.
These resin candle covers are made of thick poly beeswax. This material is sturdy and durable. But best of all, it is washable and will retain its shape and color. Cut with a bandsaw if shorter height needed.
These candle covers are heat resistant. Use with up to a 60-watt bulb provided the candle cover fits correctly and the candle cover is not enclosed within a shade. If enclosed within a shade use a 25-watt bulb.
Install Gold Resin Candle Covers
- Slide resin candle covers over standard candle socket with cardboard insulator.
- Correct height is important. Once in place the top of the candle cover should be level with the top of the socket or insulator. If it is taller than it may melt or be scorched.
- Candle covers are not to be used as a socket insulator.
Before making any changes to electrical fixtures and/or lamps:
- Disconnect plug/wire from the electrical source.
- Turning lamp off will not protect you from electric shock.
- If you are unsure how to safely proceed contact a licensed electrician.
