Premium Gone with the Wind Lamp Sockets are efficient and well made. Socket-shell, outer covering, is solid-brass. This brass socket is superior to brass-plated and brass-guilt types. Brass maintains its appearance. It does not get a washed-out look as do brass-plated and brass-guilt sockets.
Use these replacement Gone with the Wind Sockets on table lamps which have a central light and a secondary keyless socket in lamp base. They are also known as 3 terminal lamp sockets. Turn Knob switch controls both bottom & top light
This is a 3 terminal lamp socket. It requires a second socket: night light type. The two lamp sockets can be controlled independently or together. Turn knob switch, on Gone with the Wind Lamp Sockets, operates both sockets. One switch turn – lights only top socket, two switch turns – lights only bottom socket and three switch turns – light both the top and bottom bulbs.

Wiring 3 Terminal Lamp Socket
- 3 Terminal Lamp socket must be directly connected to a night light socket.
- Lamp wire exits thru bottom of socket.
- For safety it is best to replace both 3 terminal lamp socket and secondary keyless socket when rewiring Gone with the Wind Lamps.
Before making any changes to electrical fixtures and/or lamps:
- Disconnect plug/wire from the electrical source.
- Turning lamp off will-not protect you from electric shock.
